
Licensed Master Social Worker, LMSW, MS
Ziona Isaacs, LMSW, MS, is a clinical social worker at BSI. Ziona works with individuals across the lifespan, with a particular interest in supporting young adults and adults navigating anxiety, depression, relationships, ADHD, and executive functioning challenges. Ziona also has a strong interest in perinatal and reproductive mental health and supports individuals through infertility, pregnancy, postpartum, parenthood, and related life transitions.
Ziona takes a warm, collaborative, and individualized approach to therapy. She helps clients develop practical skills, deepen self-understanding, and work toward meaningful change. Ziona utilizes evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT).
Ziona earned her Master of Social Work from the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College, where she specialized in clinical practice with individuals, families, and groups. As part of her clinical training, she provided crisis counseling and psychoeducation and facilitated support groups at The Jewish Board. Her research on perinatal mental health has focused on the role of doulas in identifying and supporting individuals experiencing perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, and this research has been published in Midwifery.
