Challenges We Help You Overcome
Specializing in Evidence-Based Behavioral Interventions
Our clinicians are trained in evidence-based therapies that are grounded in the latest psychological research. We match each client with the most appropriate treatment based on their goals and clinical presentation.

Anxiety & Related Disorders
Our team utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy–based approaches, particularly Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD and anxiety, to help children gradually face fears and reduce avoidance. Treatment often includes PCIT adaptations (PCIT-SM, PCIT-CALM), Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE), and Parent Management Training (PMT) to reduce accommodation and support independence. We also incorporate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and transdiagnostic interventions to build tolerance of distress and increase psychological flexibility.

Behavioral Challenges & Parental Support
Many of our clinicians are trained in and utilize Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) and its adaptations, alongside Parent Management Training (PMT) and broader behavioral management strategies to improve consistency, reduce challenging behaviors, and strengthen the parent-child relationship. We also integrate transdiagnostic interventions and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help families respond more flexibly to challenging moments while building long-term skills.

Trauma & Stress-Related Challenges
Our work is grounded in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), combined with behavioral management strategies and parent-focused interventions to restore a sense of safety and predictability. We also incorporate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and transdiagnostic approaches to support emotional processing and resilience, while helping caregivers respond effectively to trauma-related behaviors.

Eating and Feeding Disorders
Our team is proud to provide evidence-based treatments for eating disorders. We offer Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to address eating disorder concerns. We provide specialty care for Avoidant and Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID) and picky eating using CBT and SPACE techniques.

Emotional Dysregulation
Individual and family therapy integrates Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)-informed approaches to build skills in emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. We also use behavioral activation to increase engagement in meaningful activities, alongside ACT and transdiagnostic interventions to support values-based action and emotional flexibility. Caregivers are involved through PMT and supportive coaching, and safety is prioritized through structured planning and collaboration. Dr. Pincus is a DBT-Linehan Board of Certification, Certified Clinician™.

Attention & Executive Functioning Challenges
Treatment focuses on behavioral management, Parent Management Training (PMT), and targeted executive functioning training to build planning, organization, and self-monitoring skills. We also incorporate Behavioral Activation to increase engagement in structured, rewarding activities, along with ACT and transdiagnostic approaches to support motivation, flexibility, and follow-through across settings.

Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviors & Tic Disorders
We utilize Habit Reversal Therapy (HRT) and Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT) as primary evidence-based treatments. These approaches are supported by behavioral management, parent training (PMT), and ACT-informed strategies to increase awareness of urges, build alternative responses, and reduce distress associated with symptoms.

Perinatal Disorders & Fertility Challenges
Our team utilizes Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), behavioral activation, and transdiagnostic interventions to support emotional adjustment and coping. Parent-focused strategies, including PMT-informed approaches, help strengthen the parent-child relationship and support early bonding and family functioning.
