1

What is PSYPACT?

PSYPACT (the Psychology Interjurisdictional Compact) is an interstate agreement that allows licensed psychologists who hold PSYPACT authorization to provide telepsychology services across participating states.

This means you can receive high-quality psychological care from BSI even if you do not live in New Jersey or New York, as long as you are physically located in a participating PSYPACT state during your appointment.

2

Who can use PSYPACT?

You may be eligible if:

✔ You are physically located in a PSYPACT state during your appointment

✔ Your psychologist is authorized to practice under PSYPACT

✔ Telehealth is clinically appropriate for your needs

Can I use insurance?

If you are receiving telehealth services while located in New Jersey or New York, you may be able to use your Aetna insurance through BSI Clinic, as we are in-network with Aetna in those states.

If you are located in any other participating PSYPACT state, services are provided through BSI LLC, our private-pay practice. BSI LLC is out of network with all insurance plans, including Aetna. Many clients choose to submit claims for out-of-network reimbursement, depending on their insurance benefits.

We recommend contacting your insurance provider before your first appointment to verify your out-of-network telehealth benefits. If you have questions, our administrative team is happy to help you!
